We have created a 2-part bag that is 200cm x 200cm.
The bags are water resistant and so artwork is completely safe if it gets caught in the rain.
Because of the Velcro seal that causes a vacuum effect a smaller piece of art is still protected in the bag.
This is not something we would recommend ensuring maximum protection to each piece of art but if you do want to do this please make sure the artwork is facing out against the soft inner lining and the pieces are back to back in the bag.
There is no bottom to the bag as this allows the bag to open to fit a very wide frame or even 3D art such as sculptures.
We have 2 sizes of handles, the 2m length fits the smaller bags and the 3m fits from size AP05 upwards. They can either be used under the flap, on the shoulder or a carry handle. Or simply strap around the middle of the bag to lift easily.
The bags can be used over & over again, you do not need to purchase tape! The time taken to put a painting in a bag is significantly less than the time taken to wrap a painting in bubble wrap.
Packing up after an exhibition is unbelievably quick! You are off your stand and on your way home whilst others are still trying to flatten out bubble wrap, removing old tape and re-sticking it together.
